This initiative is run by botany and zoology grad students and faculty with the goal of providing better mental health support to grad students. Crisis Centre BC

The Crisis Centre provides 24/7 access to crisis responders via phone or online chat. It is free and available to anyone in need of immediate help. It is intended both for people experiencing thoughts of suicide, and those who know people in that situation. This resource is available anytime and appears to have no barriers to access, so it is a good option for easy, immediate help in a crisis.
